If you aren’t familiar with TBDBITL (The Best Damn Band in the Land), this will show you why they have earned that distinction. Trust me that this is worth your time (don’t miss the 6:00 mark) and trust me that you will never look at a halftime show without comparing it to this one. WHICH IS TO SAY THAT NONE WILL COMPARE TO IT. EVER.

You know my oldest is in marching band, right? You know we all just died until we were dead, right? AMAZING.

That’s it. I’m dusting off the ol trombone and starting a marching band. Who’s with me?
Zak
You would play the trombome, Lin. I was a cheerleader. *dusts off pompoms*

Truly amazing. As a former college ‘band geek’ myself, I am well aware of how hard it would be to even hit all those formations, let alone to do it while playing! And the horse…wow. The only other band I’ve seen of this caliber is Texas A&M–if you like marching bands, watch one of their shows on YouTube sometime. Totally different style–all column marching–but you have to see how they manage to ‘bounce’ their columns off the sidelines back onto the field (even at angles) without losing the formation.

Wow. As another current Band Mom, that’s all I can say. Wow. My oldest (tuba) is a senior in high school – maybe I should encourage him to check out Ohio State.

Amazing! Two of my nephews were in band, one went on to be in the Troopers for a year. Band kids are the most disciplined, hard working teens! Loved this!

Makes me proud to be a band mom! That is the most awsome display of band-geek excellence I have ever seen. My son plays baritone and he was just telling me about this video this morning; now I see why he was so pumped up about it. Amazing.

You just made by Ohio State loving former marching band geek husband’s day. And mine too – that was awesome!

With such a great band, too bad you had to get stuff with our leftovers as the coach. Ha.

Humans, and what they decide they can do, constantly amaze me.
I was born and raised in Ohio and I’m proud to be a Buckeye after watching that.

Love it! I did field band competitions all through high school. We won some local competitions. It taught us decipline. It was one of the best things about going to school, being in band.
Thanks for sharing that phenomenal program with us. xo
