I don’t care who you are, or if your kid is just having minor surgery, this moment right here? Never gets any easier.
This shout out goes to all of the kids who had surgery yesterday and didn’t get to come home and sleep in their own bed.
Do me a favor, hug your kids.

You got it.
We are local. I know you don’t ‘know’ us, but let me know if you need anything. Jeni’s delivery, donut from Resch’s…are there other feel good things in our town?

I know all too well from experience that that moment never gets easier. DS9 is on a wait-list for eye surgery to correct nystagmus in both eyes. The next follow-up appointment with the specialist/surgeon is Aug 1.

I thought on Tuesday when my youngest had sedation to see a dentist and get a cap on a horrific cavity and then she gnawed on her lip so that it is roughly the size and shape of a ping-pong ball was a bad day. However, I still could drop her at school the next day and make it to grad school. Hat’s off to you Momo. ..and the snowcone comment did make me laugh.

Momo, I had a little taste of this back in Feb when my son had emergency surgery, and all I can do is salute your fortitude, send heartfelt hugs, and be impressed by your ability to have done this over and over. I am sorry I’m late to see this, but know I’m thinking of you. (((hugs)))
