Look, I understand that the paper was on food safety, but I’m thinking he should get partial credit for this. Why waste time with hygiene when there is a sandwich involved?
UM. She is holding the sandwich which means she has already washed her hands. If she set the sandwich down to go wash her hands, the sandwich would already have her choochie cooties all over it and it would waste her time and annoy the peanut butter. I would fight this one, Momo.
Agree, partial credit. I think his answer was the most logical. What are kids always told when they sit down to eat? Eat your food. He probably hears it in the cafeteria every day.
I think she should not only get credit for the response (you know, because especially with girls we want to encourage good healthy eating habits!) but also for that beautiful penmanship, right? With everyone typing these days, there is just not enough attention paid on good penmanship. Look at the great cursive and how she stayed right on the lines. Bravo!! I say, give the girl and A! 🙂

Tracy, absolutely! Just replace “she” with “he” – that’s my son’s excellent penmanship. My daughter? Well, we think if her penmanship is any indication, she will be a doctor. *fingers crossed*

Exactly!
Christina
Yeah, I gotta agree. She’s already holding the sandwich, so washing hands at this point is kinda late in the game.

If it’s a messy sandwich, you’d have to wash your hands twice, it’s just economy of motion. Eat the sandwich first… sounds logical to me.

that is too darn funny!

I just died laughing.
Also, Mr. Lady should receive commenting bonus points for using “choochie cooties”.
Miss Teacher
Point taken, especially since she is already holding the sandwich!

I agree, especially if this paper was completed pre-lunch.

Sounds pretty damn simple to me! sandwich = eat!

Your son will make an excellent general someday. Get the job done.
Patty
Agreed! Should have gotten partial credit! 🙂
Missy
Absolutely!
